Position Overview:

Club General Manager is a dynamic, dedicated, and experienced leader. You play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of club operations, ensuring the highest level of member satisfaction, financial performance, and inspiration to your team. As a Club General Manager, a typical day might include the following:

  • Preparing and reviewing a profit and loss report.
  • Being the face of the company in club by touching base with members and addressing any concerns.
  • Responding to member communication.
  • Daily check-ins with Functional Leaders to ensure all programs and promotions (in-house and outreach) are tracking positively.
  • Collaborating with the LeadeshipTeam to ensure uniform communications exist across all departments for all relevant programs and activities.
  • Analyzing membership sales and mix, cancellations, RMS bookings and personal training sales against target goals.
  • Conducting interviews in partnership with the department lead.

To land this role you need to have;

  • A University degree in sports science, recreation or leisure studies, health management, physiology, life sciences, business, management or related field.
  • At least 5 + years facility operations experience.
  • 5 -7+ years personnel management experience.
  • Proven ability to engage, inspire, motivate and lead 200+ team members.
  • Success in exceeding individual and team sales goals.
  • All management/leadership team members are required to have Standard First Aid and CPR – Level C Certification prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually.
  • All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work.
