VP of Franchisee Marketing

SUMMARY:
The VP of Franchisee Marketing is responsible for leading franchisee marketing efforts, with a primary focus on lead generation, brand development, membership sales and digital marketing strategy. The VP of Franchisee Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that not only grow our national brand but also empower franchisees with effective local marketing playbooks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Growth & Lead Generation
- Develop and execute digital marketing strategies for lead generation and membership sales.
- Optimize multi-channel campaigns (social media, paid ads, SEO, email marketing) at both corporate and franchise levels.
- Train franchisees to execute localized campaigns and leverage CRM/automation tools for lead nurturing and conversion.
Franchisee Support & Local Marketing
- Create a marketing playbook with best practices for lead generation, local ads, and community engagement.
- Provide coaching and guidance on running local campaigns, tracking performance, and optimizing digital strategies.
- Design customizable templates and content for franchisee use and monitor performance to maximize ROI.
Brand & Creative Strategy
- Craft compelling brand messaging and campaigns for basketball enthusiasts and local communities.
- Develop engaging content (video, graphics, copy) for digital platforms and social media.
- Manage and grow national and local social media presence to build a thriving community.
Performance & Analytics
- Track, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics (CPC, CPL, conversion rates, LTV).
- Continuously test and optimize campaigns to improve results and tailor strategies to different markets.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, franchise marketing, or multi-location digital marketing, ideally within sports, fitness, or membership-based businesses.
- Proven success in driving online leads and sales through various digital channels.
- Expert knowledge of paid social, SEO, influencer marketing, and local marketing strategies.
- Experience working with franchisees, multi-unit operators, or distributed marketing teams.
- Skilled in training and supporting non-marketers (franchisees) to execute localized marketing campaigns.
- Proficient in CRM systems, marketing automation, and ad platforms.
- Passion for basketball and community engagement is a plus!
