Description:
The Area Manager will be responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of several studios. This role requires strong leadership skills, an ability to develop and implement effective scheduling strategies, and a commitment to team development and instructor policies. The ideal candidate would be a proactive problem solver with a fitness-management background. We are looking for a growth-oriented individual looking for the opportunity to scale with a growing business.
Major Roles:
- Lead and manage team: 3 General Managers, Client Relations, and Development
- Optimize studio productivity through:
- Long-term scheduling strategy
- Instructor systems oversight (Mariana Tek, NetGym, Teamup)
- Oversight of organization-wide instructor SOS system
- Create instructor policies and procedures
- Tracking and reporting of studio revenue and client churn
- Strategizing new revenue sources
- Tracking and reporting retail revenue
- Community outreach/field marketing initiatives & monthly newsletter
Requirements:
- 3+ Years of fitness (or related) management experience
- Fitness teaching experience (Pilates reformer preferred)
- Proficient in fitness software and analytics
- Passion for fitness, with a knowledge of industry trends and best practices
- Flexible on-site work arrangements within the DMV
