Description:

We are seeking a dynamic General Manager and partner to lead and scale this world-class Performance Center in San Francisco. This is not just a job—it’s an opportunity to own, shape, and grow a premier training facility under a proven methodology.

You’ll work closely with company founders to elevate the business, build a thriving coaching culture, and expand the company’s impact.

This is not a traditional managerial role—your leadership will directly influence business success, and you’ll share in the financial upside through a profit-sharing model.

Your Role & Impact:

Lead with Vision & Ownership

  • Be the face of the Performance Center, building a culture of inclusivity and high performance.
  • Operate with an ownership mindset—your leadership drives growth and financial success.
  • Expand and evolve coaching and training offerings to support various athletes and professionals.
  • Ensure all services align with Purple Patch’s proven coaching philosophy.

Own the P&L & Drive Growth

  • Take full accountability for financial success and operational efficiency.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team aligned with Purple Patch’s standard of excellence.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies, including new revenue streams, partnerships, and membership models.
  • Optimize operations, systems, and customer experience to ensure sustainable business success.

Deliver an Exceptional Experience

  • Maintain the highest coaching and service standards for every athlete and client.
  • Foster a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere that keeps members engaged and motivated.
  • Leverage technology and innovation to enhance training programs and client experience.

What You Bring

Leadership & Business Acumen

  • Proven experience running a premium service business (fitness, wellness, hospitality, or performance coaching).
  • Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of scaling businesses while maintaining high-quality client experiences.
  • Strong financial acumen—comfortable managing budgets, P&L, and revenue growth strategies.

Growth & Relationship Building

  • You see opportunities, not obstacles, and thrive in fast-moving, lean environments.
  • A natural leader who inspires and builds trust with clients, staff, and partners.
  • Skilled in marketing, sales, and creating compelling offers that drive membership growth.

(Bonus) Coaching Expertise

  • While not required, a fitness, training, or coaching background is a plus.
