Who Are We Looking For?

Our client is growing team of bright, ambitious individuals on a mission to empower health and wellness business owners to turn their entrepreneurial dreams into reality. Our culture values high performance, adaptability, accountability, and customer success — and they are looking for an experienced Outbound Sales Manager to scale our new business acquisition engine.

Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience leading SaaS outbound sales teams, ideally in a B2B environment targeting small to mid-sized businesses. You will be a player-coach, responsible for driving pipeline generation, leading and coaching a team of Account Executives (AEs), and partnering with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to turn cold prospects into high-value customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and scale a team of outbound Account Executives (AEs).
  • Collaborate with BDR Manager to ensure alignment in outreach and qualification.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s and team reviews with a focus on coaching and continuous improvement.
  • Motivate, mentor, and manage performance through effective training and incentives.
  • Foster an energetic, high-performance culture of engagement and accountability.
  • Own and drive performance against new logo acquisition targets.
  • Monitor pipeline metrics and ensure 3–4x pipeline coverage.
  • Manage quality of BDR-to-AE handoffs to maximize conversion.
  • Build and refine outbound workflows, cadences, and objection-handling strategies.
  • Create, maintain, and implement sales processes, playbooks, and career paths for outbound AEs.
  • Partner with Marketing to align ICP, messaging, and lead list development.
  • Develop and implement effective reporting to track outbound activity and performance.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven success managing outbound SaaS sales teams.
  • Expertise in outbound strategies (cold calling, sequencing, email/SMS outreach).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding outbound sales goals.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Proficiency with tools: Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, Gong/Chorus, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Analytical, data-driven approach to pipeline and performance management.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS/startup environment.
  • Background in selling to SMBs, especially in the wellness/fitness space (strong plus).
